Bearsden Garden Planting Design

This was the partial redesign of a large Bearsden Garden. The lower half of the garden was simply a sloping lawn with a rectangular bed containing fruit bushes. The brief was to create more colour and interest through planting. The design creates new spaces to move through, and provides colour and scent throughout the year. Cornus controversa 'Variegata', The Wedding Cake Tree, will ultimately create a light focal point against the dark backdrop of the conifers.
